Ten startups that transform health, leisure and sustainability chosen in the Scale up 24 program

VALENCIA (VP). Ten startups who work in the nanotechnology sector, digital health, Artificial Intelligence, mobility, circular economy and traditional sectors have been selected to participate during in the European business acceleration program Scale up, coordinated by the Valencian Institute of Competitiveness and Innovation (Ivace+i) with the collaboration of the European Business and Innovation Center (CEEI Valencia).

These 10 startups They will have access, at no cost to them and without giving up equity, to a training and mentoring plan with experts and professionals who will help them design and implement their growth strategy as well as the opportunity to present their company to investors at an exclusive event.

In this seventh edition, Scale up highlights the personalized advice of expert mentors in different verticals in addition to the participation of leading corporates from the Valencian Community such as BigBuy, CPS, Ebir, GD Energy Services, Grupo Maya, Helados Estiu, Nunsys, Pulverizadores Fede, Schneider Electric, SPB and Vickyfoods. On the other hand, the perks they can access are: Qonto, Kártica, Nebo Comunicación, ethics, tugesto Legal & Fintech Innovation, Google for Startups, OVHcloud, Universidad European Valencia, IEBS Digital School, talento, founderz, Tomarial, DHNN, LaBase.

Among all the selected startups, the company with the greatest scalability potential will be awarded €15,000, of which €10,000 is in cash -€5,000 awarded by Caixa Popular and €5,000 by the CEEI Valencia- and 5,000 euros in strategic consulting services from business growth.

The entities that have been part of the selection jury have been Startup Valencia, Tech Transfer-UPV by Clave Mayor, Speedout Advisory, BIGBAN Inversiones Privados, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Valencia – AJEV, the Valencian Institute of Finance – IVF, the Valencian Business Confederation – CEV, Caixa Popular sponsor of the program, as well as Ivace+i and CEEI Valencia.

Scale up is an acceleration program of the Ivace+i and CEEI Valencia, co-financed by Enterprise Europe Networking – SEIMED, a program of the European Commission.

Helps companies and institutions minimize their environmental impact by implementing sustainability and waste circularity strategies. They offer projects that transform recycled materials into useful products, such as merchandising, packaging and corporate gifts. Its focus is on the reuse of materials such as PVC tarpaulins, plastics and textiles, contributing to the circular economy.

SCALE Nanotech OÜ

Research, development and innovation in nanotechnologies. The company has created Graphene MODulator (GMOD®) technology, which allows the manufacturing of displays and spatial light modulators with graphene. This technology significantly improves the resolution, performance and power efficiency of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) devices.
